Oil & Bulk Inspection Services (O&Bis) was born in 2018, by merger of Oil & Bulk, “Cargo Survey, Quality and Quantity Control“ business branch, with Progitech.
The first one, on the market of inspection services to the oil industry since 1992, the second one as from 1996 leader in Italy in the logistics of dangerous and not dangerous goods’ inspection, consultancy and training.
The merge of the two above companies, both providing services to different sectors although mainly of the same oil companies’ clients, has already created synergies which allow O&Bis to offer to the oil industry a whole series of innovative services with a new approach.
The overall, general objective being The Risks Control Management, approached and declined in all the aspects, we have put in place a team of experts who can effectively exploit the specific and yet complementary competences.
In addition to the traditional field inspections services we can provide the following:
- Consultancy on sales, transportation and insurance contracts.
- Training courses on dangerous goods management and control, international conventions and standard applicable.
- Refinery losses analysis.
- Audit on the refinery and marine terminal systems.
O&Bis-Progitech is exclusive correspondent for Italy of GeoChem among the most important inspection companies operating internationally, with special focus on laboratory analyses from Africa to Japan.
O&Bis is certified ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and employs IFIA certified inspectors.
